Set in a futuristic world where human emotions have been eradicated, the film revolve around an illustrator and his writer/co-worker, who have been afflicted with a disease that awakens the emotions in them. In order to survive, they have to escape together.

The film also contains mild references about humans who are afflicted with the disease committing or attempting suicide.
