Several people get shot. Nothing too graphic, though. There is violence - since it's a war movie. Quite a bit of blood from wounds, but again, it's not a gore fest by any means.
Some blood detail when shooting occurs.
Most of the violence and action sequences don't happen until the final 40 mins or so, and when it does, there is very minimal gore and blood.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
Mild
Definitely some intense battle scenes and a few submarine evading detection scenes are particularly suspenseful. Edge of your seat type of suspense in some cases. But nothing "scary." Shoot outs are intense and sometimes bloody.
Not frightening at all but very intense and suspenseful.
The battles aren't very graphic even though it's an R rated action movie and when gore occurs, it's pretty brief and not over the top at all.
