A man falls inside an ice rink, a passing skater slits his hands and blood is seen squirting on the ground. As the man continues, he spreads his blood around the rink.

A dead body is seen, two men drill holes in the dead body. We see it from the side, it isn't as disturbing visual as much as the sounds it makes.

A woman runs into the street and is hit by oncoming car, her body flies up. We see this from a distance, through a far hallway.

A man is hacked with an axe, we see the act through a tainted window. With each hack blood sprays on the window.

A woman is running away from the killer who is driving a truck, she gets run over. We do not see the act, the camera is angled in a ditch where her body is covered by the grass, but the truck can be seen running over something. The woman survives but the man runs over her again. We see this from the same angle.

A man turns off a breathing machine that is keeping a coma patient alive. We do not see the person's death.

A man gets in a car accident.

A man kills an older man, he bashes his head with the top part of the toilet. We do not see the man being hit but each time he does hit the older man, blood sprays on the curtain next to him. A bloody puddle is seen, the curtain covers the older man's body. The man proceeds to stand up and pee in the toilet next to the dead body.

A man sews a cut on the top of his head, we see him go through the process (the open wound, needle go through the skin, skin being pulled, blood, etc)

A man is stabbed in the back, nothing is shown.

Two men fight and both men are stabbed repeatively with knives. There is nothing gory but a lot of blood is shown covering parts of their bodies from each wound.

A man is hit repeatively in the back of the head with a large rock, blood is seen.

The movie deals with the kidnapping of a very young child, during her captivity she witnesses many deaths. The kidnapper is very deranged, he kills many people and forces the girl to eat dirt with rocks in it. If he doesn't get his way on things, he will kill them. He holds a ransom for the girl and if it is not met, he plans on killing her. As the movie progresses, we see that there have been multiple girls before this girl, and they have been killed.

The movie also deals with the loss of faith.
