There are about 5 scenes where 2 men kiss, there are about two couples in the film of male and male couples. They kiss for more than a minute or two, there is no "sex scene" - there is only the assumption that heavy kissing, then the next morning comes and reveals a new day - leading the audience to believe they did have some type of sex but nothing was shown. There is one or two scenes where guys have their shirts off, but NO sexual reference (i.e., no other man touches another mans nipples) - there is a scene where one man is caring for another man and the man is lying the bed with his shirt off and he has an ice-pack put on his chest, the guy in the bed holds the other mans hand (with the ice pack in this hand) for a few seconds - just a normal "loving" moment.

I watched the "unrated edition" and in the department of sex & nudity, there pretty much wasn't any. Just a few guys with shirts off, one time a guy reaches for the other guys belt buckle to un-buckle it - but nothing is shown. I would say it's technically a G to PG in the sex & nudity area.

I would definetely rate this in VERY VIOLATE/GORE. There are many scenes where there are gun shots, blood splatters - however, there really isn't a very close up scene of any of these filmed items. So if you are looking for a lot of REAL GORE, this is not the movie, but there are several times where one gang shoots another gang's member and they show the body on the ground with blood - but there's never a scene say with a view of the guys face, or a "shot off head" or anything gorey in that aspect.

There is a TON of violence. Every scene includes a gun, talks about a gun, talks about a gang and how essential it is. I would rate this category an NC-17 movie just due to the amount of guns, talk, shots, and general gang related violence.

The "F" word is used a lot, if you don't know what that means, look it up. I would say the F word is said 30-60 times.

The words "Gay", "Faggot" are used more than 10 times each.

The word "Pu$$y" - and not the cat - is used ALL THROUGHOUT the movie. Every sentence! "You're a P!" "He's a P!" "Are you a F'ing P?" "What is wrong with your P A$$?" - many times!

I don't even remember alcohol in the movie. I believe there is a scene in a bar where they may have a beer or something similiar - but it is a "far away" scene and you cannot see what they are drinking.

Smoking not prevalent, don't rememeber ANYONE smoking. Maybe one time, one of the "gang leaders" had smoke inside his car - maybe leading the watcher to believe they were smoking Marijuana or similiar.

There are 2-3 fighting scenes. If you seen fight-club it is simliar to some of those scenes. There is hitting, kicing, punching in the face with blood oozing out of the mans mouth including a bruised eye, several laceration type marks on the face, but very small marks. Many of these 2-3 times were fairly rough, but maybe in the PG-13 range. No more than any gang-violence a child in LA would probably see. I would say that audience such as that should go/rent this movie
