Numerous scenes include male nudity, including views of erect penises and male masturbation. Actual sexual contact between two males is strongly suggested, but only hugging is actually visible on screen. The film is deeply erotic.

There is a single scene in which a guard whips a prisoner repeatedly with a belt, but no actual blows, blood, or bodily damage is shown.

The film is silent. Some suggestive graffiti may be seen on the walls at times.

A man smokes cigarettes in the film, and blows smoke into the mouth of another man. No alcohol or drugs are present in the film.

There are few scenes in this movie which most people would not consider "intense," and although, basically, the metaphors of the film are deeply disturbing and frightening, there is nothing in the film which should terrify or frighten.
