Many humans are impaled by bugs. Some humans are beheaded by flying bugs with claws and some are sucked into the ground by burrowing bugs. A man is shown with bloody stumps after being sucked into the ground.

A man's arm is broken in a grappling hold. The bone is briefly shown protruding.

A woman is cut in half by a door (with some blood). A bug pokes a man's head and sucks his brains out.

Strong sequences of gory sci-fi horror throughout. A variety of enormous insectoid alien monsters kill human soldiers in various graphic ways. Full gory detail and vicious depictions of gruesome/brutal violence (including gun violence).

The bugs can be frightening to some. Also many of the killings and gory scenes are intense.

The brain bug, which is frightening, sucks the brain out of a human. This scene may disturb some.

A part of South America is devastated, many die. This scene is quite sad as Rico's parents are implied to have also died.

This movie is very intense and bloody, but the satirical tone lightens things up a bit.

A cow is eviscerated by a giant inesctoid alien; though a "censored" bar partially obscures it, the scene is still quite gruesome. (The censor bar was intended to be a joke.)
