Haakon Haakonsen is about to get his back whipped by Merrick when a hurricane storm comes up.

The pirates are seen shooting guns at Haakon Haakonsen and his friends.

The captain of the ship is seen drinking rum and Merrick poisons the bottle which kills the ships captain.

There is a scene where the hurricane causes the ship to crash into the reef and Haakon Haakonsen has to rescue a girl from drowning.
