Marta is smitten with an older teenage boy who her father disapproves of.

A child is briefly shown playing with a lighter that is handled by an adult however there is no smoking involved.

Marta finds out her family is living in America illegally and they are threatened to be deported.

While visiting her father's previous employers Marta encounters a gruff, cantankerous salvage yard owner who is very rude to her and raises his voice loudly.
