Lucy wears lots of suggestive clothing and in a short sequence her breasts are completely shown. Also, the chauffeur wears a very loose jacket and no bra. However, the chauffeur never takes this jacket off, though it barely covers her breasts.

One of the songs, "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", involved a student of medicine named Maxwell Edison murdering everyone with a hammer. The song is performed by Dr. Maxwell himself (Steve Martin). While we are shown no footage of a younger Maxwell killing people, it is confirmed in the comic adaptation that he was, in fact, the same guy. Now he uses his silver hammer to turn old people into younger slaves of Future Villain Band. Make of that what you will.

Slapstick violence.

A brief fistfight, some struggles, and two instances of the main character being knocked unconscious.

During the scene of the party at D.B. Hoffletter's house, there is a lot of drinking going on, as well as smoking either marijuana and/or cigarettes there. There is also a part where D.B. puts powder from a pill into Peter Frampton's drink to get him to sign the record company contract.

The whole film feels like a bizarre drug trip while staring at some of Salvador Dalí's paintings, set to Beatles music.
