The mother gets in a fight with a man she meets at a bar that owns an antique shop. It may be frightening for young children.

There certainly is cursing in this movie at least two goddams and a few hells. Perhaps more.

Smoking throughout movie. There is one scene where the mother offers her daughter a puff on her cigarette that was disturbing. The mother is shown drunk in a few parts. Alcohol is given to the old lady "Nanny Annie"

The yelling between Beatrice and the daughter may be intense and emotional to watch. The bunny dies and the dead carcass is shown. There is also a scene at the end where a girl in the science fair is talking about how she skinned an animal and boiled it until its flesh fell off the bone.
