When It Was A Game Collection

Joachim Meyerhoff's autobiographical recollections include his childhood and teenager years living on the premises of a psychiatric clinic, his father being the director of the child and adolescent ward.

Film consists solely of 8mm and 16mm film taken by players and fans from 1925 to 1961. All but approximately 6 minutes of the film is in color. Also includes literary passages, remembrances from players, writers and broadcasters, and archived baseball related music.

The third part of the documentary series takes a look at the changing face of baseball in America during the 1960's.
