Sometimes love is impossible. A girl and a boy from Hokkaido in Northern Japan fall in love and pledge eternal fealty to each other. Circumstances soon separate them geographically, but the two are no less in love and soldier on with one another. Soon, however, it becomes clear that loving someone is more than maintaining a linear path and abiding by one's promise. Well, at least it becomes clear to one of the two.
