When an NYC cop (Adam Sandler) finally takes his wife (Jennifer Aniston) on a long promised European trip, a chance meeting on the flight gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince. When Quince is murdered, they become the prime suspects in a modern day whodunit.

Nick and Audrey Spitz, who are now full-time private detectives, attend the wedding of their friend Vikram "The Maharajah" Govindan on his private island. At the wedding, Vik is kidnapped, and the couple is tasked with delivering a ransom of $70 million to exchange for Vik. However, they realize they are being framed for the abduction, and with the help of Inspector Laurent de la Croix, they trace the culprits to a countryside château. In the end, the mastermind behind the abduction is revealed, and Nick and Audrey destroy the ransom money before leaving on a honeymoon with $10 million given to them by Vik and his fiancée, only to be robbed at gunpoint in the last twist.
