In a not-so-distant future, with the Earth governed by the militaristic United Citizen Federation and multitudes of highly evolved Klendathu Arachnids threatening the safety of our solar system, high-school athlete Johnny Rico and three of his hometown friends join up to do their part. And to ensure humankind's future, an all-out invasion has begun; however, in this far-off exoplanet hostile to life as we know it, brute force alone and conventional strategies won't cut it. Now, the unstoppable Bug Army is at the gates. Will Rico and his fellow Starship Troopers end up serving as cannon fodder?

In this sequel, we're sent back to the battlefield, as the Federation's best mobile infantry unit's are slowly being overpowered by the killer bugs. They're light years from the nearest reinforcements and are trapped on a remote outpost. Though they've set up protection around the post, the enemy's in the outpost, in a way which they never thought of.

The war against the Bugs continues! A Federation Starship crash-lands on the distant Alien planet OM-1, stranding beloved leader Sky Marshal Anoke and several others, including comely but tough pilot Lola Beck. It's up to Colonel/General Johnny Rico, reluctant hero of the original Bug Invasion on Planet P, to lead a team of Troopers on a daring rescue mission.

On an asteroid, the Terran Federation's Fort Casey is on top of a bug hive. The Starship Alesia begins to deploy its troops to seize and control the hanger and rescue any survivors. 'Alpha' team landed without much resistance from the bugs, after they rendezvous with what's left of Fort Casey's troopers, LTA Daugherty then decided to hold till the John A. Warden evacuates while the Alesia stands by for immediate evacuation.

Two decades after the Battle of Klendathu in Starship Troopers (1997), battle-scarred Johnny Rico finds himself reassigned to Mars at the Nemesis Orbital Base. Now, after the events in Starship Troopers: Invasion (2012), Rico trains the Lost Patrol: a hopeless unit of adventurous cadets. However, when an underground colony of hostile Arachnids emerges from the bowels of the arid Red Planet, Rico gets back in the bug-killing game to keep the invaders at bay. But it seems someone from the higher-ups already knew about the alien insects' widespread subterranean infestation. Is there a traitor in the Federation? Will Rico and his Mobile Infantry rookies live to tell the tale of their heroic last stand?
