To find the perfect gift for Tarzan, Jane combs the jungle, even enlisting the help of Terk, the gorilla, and Tantor, the elephant. As their first wedding anniversary approaches, Jane recalls their many adventures and realises what an exciting year it's been in the jungle so far, outsmarting panthers or surfing the lava down an erupting volcano. Their old friends, and their new enemies, remind Tarzan and Jane that, even though they come from entirely different worlds, when together, they are an unbeatable, unrivalled team. However, has Jane made up her mind? Above all, what surprise has Tarzan in store for Jane?

Before he became king of the jungle in Tarzan (1999), Tarzan was a clumsy kid trying to be part of his adoptive mother Kala's community of apes. While trying to prove himself, an accident puts his family in harm's way, and convinced that he will never fit in, Tarzan decides that everyone would be better off without him and runs away. But, as young Tarzan embarks on a dangerous quest of self-discovery, he finds himself stranded in a rocky place known as the Dark Mountain. There, an unexpected ally is willing to help the wide-eyed boy and show him the way around the green forest. Will Tarzan find his true calling in life?

The movie is about the life of Tarzan. Tarzan was a small orphan who was raised by an ape named Kala since he was a child. He believed that this was his family, but on an expedition Jane Porter is rescued by Tarzan. He then finds out that he's human.
