Kardos and Droplet Collection

This funny crime/comedy was the beginning of the Csopi and Kardos films (starring Istvan Bujtor and Andras Kern). Takes place at Balaton, where a monastery - possibly the one in Tihany - been robbed, and their precious treasure, the Pagan Madonna gone missing. Doc Kardos is in charge as the local inspector, but it gets clear shortly he need some help of the more experienced Csopi. They tie up to resolve the mystery, but it's not a mad chase, always have time for sailing or drinking as well.

The 2nd part of the popular crime-comedies starring Csöpi Ötvös, who investigates about a hidden treasure this time.

The brilliant but renegade detective, Csöpi Ötvös is currently on suspension, so Dr. Kardos has the opportunity to expose the counterfeit gang.

Hungarian action comedy taking place in 1991. This film is part of the series written, directed and starred by Istvan Bujtor which are loosely connected to each other by the main characters: investigators Dr Kardos and Csopi Otvos. The plot starts in Athens with a murder that soon turns into an investigation after a European drug cartell across Greece, Hungary and Germany. The main character of the film is given by the dialogues reflecting stereotypes of the Hungarian mindset in the 1990s post-systemic change world.
